Hello I'm Clare Merriman I first took over the business Clare Martyn on 1st August 2015. I can honestly say I'm enjoying every minute of being in this salon. Our clients are so loyal and we have many laughs. When I first had the business my main priority was to make clients feel welcome and leave with a smile on their face. I think this is the most important in a hair and beauty salon, building a relationship with your clients is what makes every visit special. After all they do say you tell your hairdresser/beautician everything (I can assure you in most cases this is true ha ha). Most of all it's nice to make so many new friends, to have had all the support I have I'm very grateful.

Our staff are a joy to be around, a minute is never a dull moment. We have Chloe our full time beautician and Emma our full time stylist. We all love what we do and feel at home in the salon, it's so easy to fit in at Clare Martyn. Although we have fun here, we always take a professional attitude towards work and try our upmost to achieve the best results for our clients.

Our prices are very reasonable, and we regularly have offers, which are promoted on our Facebook page (keep your eyes peeled). On our Facebook page you will find pictures of our work to help inspire your new hairstyle/colour. You can see all our reviews on there, check in, or book by sending us a message. We aim to get back in contact with anyone who messages asap, although this is not always possible if we are all busy.
